We found the nicest marina of the whole trip, Alligator River Marina. This is a small marina behind a Texaco station. No services except for the station, but the facilities are very nice. It was a hot day and the 50 amp service was very welcome. No air moving so A/C was very welcome. They had an email hookup but it apparently was a very small phone company and Earthlink (I'll not call them Mindspring ever again) didn't have a local access number. I tried to use Earthlink's 800 service that I signed up for before we left. Didn't work. I called tech support. Sean was very helpful but didn't help. He called customer service for me and found out that you have to go online and log into Earthlink's site and read some document and say that you accept it before you can use the 800 service. Talk about a catch 22. Here I am with the only way to access Earthlink is via the 800 service and I can't until I login and accept some stupid agreement. Talk about unfriendly service. I have no idea when I'm ever going to get this uploaded.
