We actually got to put up the sails and run for a brief time today. Not enough wind to sail without the motor but we did get over a knot additional speed with the genny and main up. Genny only plus power in Nuese river then main and genny in Pamlico river. No real wind until late in the day.

We arrived in Belhaven NC. Anchored behind the breakwater. Lots of wind until morning. Lots of bugs too. First time we've had a problem with the bugs. Grilled steaks. First of the trip. Wonderful! JB weld doesn't do stainless steel. Grill fell apart. Before we left, the Force 10 grill fell off the aft rail as Sue was cleaning it and landed on the part that the gas bottle mounts and has the control knob. That part was tack welded to the rest of the grill in three places around the circumference. Two of them broke. Some time later the other gave way. I attempted to JB Weld it back together. It seemed to hold, but when I went to turn the grill off after fixing the steaks, it fell apart again. Back to the drawing board.
